In the afternoon of 27 January 2011, Holly Chen, the managing partner of Kuang Zheng Certified Public Accountants, and Jacques Potdevin, the founder and president of JPA International, signed a membership agreement entitling Kuang Zheng CPAs as the exclusive member of JPA International in China (except Hong Kong S.A.R.). Also present during the signing ceremony were Dr. Choong, the President of Far East Regional Section of JPA International, and Michael Brooks, the managing partner of Bourner Bullock, a JPA member firm in the U.K.
Established in 1987 and headquartered in Paris, JPA International is an international accounting network with over 140 members in 46 countries. The network has been entitled with the prestige and privilege to be a member of the Forum of Firms (FOF), an association established by the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) and composed of internationally recognized networks of accounting firms that perform trans-national audits of financial statements.
Jacques Potdevin is the president and founder of JPA International. In addition, he has held membership and leadership positions within various accounting organizations. Mr. Potdevin has a history of active involvement in the Federation of European Accountants (FEE): from 2006-2008, Mr. Potdevin was the President of FEE, having previously served the organization as Deputy President and Vice President. He has also held the position of the Honorary President of the National Audit Commission (France). In November 2009, Mr. Potdevin was nominated by the Superior Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (France) and the National Audit Commission (France) and became a member of the IFAC Board.
